Round trip commuter passes (available for the subway and bus) and one-way passes (available for the bus only) are available for one-month, three-month, and six-month time periods.
To purchase a pass, fill out the form at the ticket window. Click here for a list of ticket window locations.You can buy a pass a day in advance except in the following cases: When the previous day is a holiday, or on a Saturday, or Sunday, or on Jan 2 or Jan 3. On those days, you can buy one on the preceding weekday.
You can extend your pass seven days before the expiration date. You need the current pass in order to extend it. You can also extend your subway pass and your subway-bus pass (except for the pass for both city and Miyagi buses) using the vending machine for the pass at the following four stations: Izumi Chuo, Yaotome, Kotodai Koen and Sendai.
If you need to make a change in your pass, fill out the appropriate form at the ticket window. Make sure to bring your current pass. Then, you will get a refund or will pay the difference on a pro-rated basis. (The charge to convert your pass is Y500 for bus passes and subway-bus passes and Y200 for a subway pass.)
If you no longer need your card, fill out the refund form at the ticket window. Bring your current pass. You will get a refund for the remaining days. (The charge to change your passes is Y500 for bus passes and subway-bus passes and Y200 for a subway pass.)
If your pass stops working, it can be reissued at the ticket window when it is broken or its magnetism is gone.

Passes Allowing Unlimited Stops
These passes are very convenient, especially for people who need to make many stops in one day (e.g. insurance companies). No names on the pass are required.
Passes for Downtown Area Allowing Unlimited Stops
You can ride buses anywhere in the Y250 zone from Sendai Station as many times as you wish. For one month: Y16,000
Passes for Suburban Area Allowing Unlimited Stops
You can ride buses anywhere in the Y340 zone from Sendai Station as many times as you wish. For one month: Y19,980
Passes Allowing Unlimited Stops for Shopping (Himawari Pass)
These passes are good when you go shopping. No names on the pass are required. A pretty economical option if you share it with friends.
For one month: 50% discount from the regular fare for 60 rides
*You can only use this pass between 9:30am and 4:00pm on weekdays. However, you can use it all day on holidays and Sundays.
Subway Commuter Passes
Round trip commuter passes, between your two chosen stations, are available for one-month, three-month,@and six-month time periods.
Bus-Subway Transfer Commuter Passes
These passes are very reasonable for people who transfer at one of the seven designated subway stations and/or the bus stops. The bus pass is discounted 5%, and the subway pass is discounted 15% from the regular fare.
KYOTSU Transfer Passes for Bus and Subway
Using this pass, you can not only transfer, but also ride both City buses and Miyagi Buses on the Izumi Park Town Line and the Kamo Danchi Line. (All transfer passes look the same but only "KYOTSU Transfer Pass for Bus and Subway has on it beside the fare.)
