Thanksgiving Day Lesson.

Procedure

1. Show students the Power point presentation and explain the story behind Thanksgiving.

2. Ask students to "Name Five" of each thing with categories like: cities, fruit, english boys names, holidays. ie. Name Five Animals. 1. cow 2. dog 3. cat 4. mouse 5. monkey.

2. Show students examples and have them make hand print turkeys and leaving the fingers and thumb blank. Ask students to, "Name five things you're thankful for" and have them write one thing in each finger.
Have them practice writing sentences on the back of the paper "I'm thankful for my family." etc...
